Colts (2-2-1) at Broncos (2-3), Colts win 12-9

If you missed this game, you didn’t miss much because there wasn’t a single touchdown scored during the whole game, and the game somehow went into overtime. Can’t really call this a defensive matchup since it was more an offensive struggle. When NFL spectators leave a game early, it’s generally because their team is losing badly, but that wasn’t the case Thursday night. Due to the Denver Broncos’ awful performance, Broncos fans opted to flee Empower Field at Mile High immediately before the start of overtime in the Colts’ 12-9 victory. Both Matt Ryan and Russell Wilson finished the game with 2 interceptions a piece including the game clinching interception by Stephon Gilmore thrown by Wilson.

Lions (1-3) at Patriots (1-3), 1 p.m.:

For one of these teams, something needs to change. Detroit’s three losses have come by three, four, and three points, respectively. It’s odd that the Lions are smashing offseason records while only going 1-3.

The Patriots have quarterback troubles, and it’s probable that Bailey Zappe may get his first start against the Lions, who have the league’s best offense but the worst defense. Isn’t that only in Detroit? It’s difficult to trust the Lions as an underdog, and if it comes down to it, you’d rather trust Dan Campbell than Bill Belichick.
